Every board is designed from scratch and built by hand in Washington State. Whether you want a classic edge grain butcher block or a custom end grain piece with a bold checkerboard look, each board is made to order: your wood, your size, your design.
Our Board Styles
Edge Grain
The classic butcher block look. Strips of wood are glued together with the long face showing, creating a smooth, durable surface. Great for everyday use and easy to maintain. With regular oiling, a well-made board can last for many years.
End Grain
The checkerboard look. The wood is crosscut so the end of each piece faces up, revealing a beautiful mosaic of grain patterns. More labor-intensive to build, and worth the extra time.
