Who I am…

Hi, I’m Michael. I’m a Navy veteran, a dad, and a guy who unwinds by making things out of wood.

Woodworking gives me calm and focus. After a day at a screen, the shop lets me slow down, solve problems with my hands, and see real progress. It helps me turn the noise in my head into something useful and beautiful.

I’m just starting my CNC journey. I’m learning toolpaths, feeds and speeds, workholding, and finishing. You’ll see me test bits, dial in settings, and figure out what actually works, then share the files and notes so I can repeat it and you can learn from it too.

This website is my logbook. I use it to document what I learn as I go, from simple jigs to CNC experiments, along with the wins, mistakes, and “do this differently next time” notes. If any of it helps you with your own project, even better.

I’m not trying to be a perfect influencer or a glossy brand. I’m building skills, piece by piece, and sharing the process so it’s honest and useful. If a project here sparks a custom idea, feel free to reach out. Otherwise, enjoy the journey with me.
